Remove yourself from any distractions so that you can take time out of your day to give back to yourself. Find a comfortable spot where you can begin your meditation.
Place the first mala bead gently on the middle finger of your right hand. Your thumb will rest on the bead. Now you can begin reciting your mantra. At the end of the mantra rotate the mala bead away from you using your thumb. Move onto the next bead and repeat. Continue this process until you reach 108. If you wish to do another round of mantras, do not skip over the guru bead, be sure to turn the mala around and move in the opposite direction.
If meditation is not your thing, then simply wear it around your neck, wrist, have it visible in your home or even workplace. It will serve as a physical reminder of who you want to be in the world and the intention you have set for yourself.
